Livestock Sales Policy

At Fuzz & Buzz Farms, we take pride in raising healthy, well-cared-for animals and providing clear, honest information to all buyers. This policy outlines our terms for purchasing goats, duck hatching eggs, and any other livestock or livestock products.

Health & Animal Care

All animals sold by Fuzz & Buzz Farms are raised on our farm with proper nutrition, clean housing, and preventative care.

Goats are provided with age-appropriate vaccinations, mineral supplementation, and coccidia prevention.
Duck hatching eggs are collected daily and stored under optimal conditions before shipping or pickup.
We do not knowingly sell sick or injured animals.

That said, we are not responsible for the animal's health once it leaves our care, as stress and new environments can affect health outcomes.

Veterinary Disclaimer

We are not veterinarians and do not offer medical advice. Any medications, supplements, or treatments referenced in our listings reflect common practices and our own experience. Buyers should consult a licensed veterinarian for ongoing health care.

Reservations & Deposits

We accept reservations on goats and other livestock with a non-refundable deposit, which is applied toward the total purchase price.

Goats: A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your animal upon birth or purchase agreement. A goat is not considered reserved until a deposit has been paid.
Other Livestock (e.g., hatching eggs): Full payment is typically due at time of order or pickup unless otherwise stated.

🕒 Pickup Deadlines

Pickup must occur by the agreed date—usually within 10 days of weaning or readiness, unless other written arrangements are made. Goats that remain on the farm past the specified timeframe are subject to a boarding fee of $50/week/unweaned kid and $25/week/weaned kid or adult. Boarding fees must be paid in full before pickup.
If you miss the pickup deadline without adequate communication, the deposit is forfeited and the animal may be relisted.

🐐 Waitlist Policy

If the animal you want is not currently available, we’re happy to add you to our waitlist. Waitlisted buyers will be contacted in order of inquiry and offered animals as they become available. A deposit is only required once you confirm selection.

💵 Payment Options

We accept Squarespace Payments through our website, PayPal (Friends & Family), cash, or check (deposit only; must clear before pickup). Full payment must be completed before animals leave the farm.

🔁 Seller-Initiated Cancellations

If for any reason we cancel a reservation (e.g., the animal becomes unavailable or we feel the situation isn’t a good fit), we will refund your deposit in full.

We reserve the right to refuse any sale at our discretion to protect the health and well-being of our animals.

Pickup & Transport

We do not currently ship live animals. All goats, ducklings, and other livestock must be picked up at our farm by appointment.

Bring a safe, clean crate or appropriate transport for your animal.
Animals will not be released without full payment.

No Refunds or Returns

Due to the nature of livestock sales, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or accept returns of animals or hatching eggs once they have left our property.

We encourage buyers to research proper care and ask questions before completing a purchase.

Hatching Egg Disclaimer

Hatching eggs are a natural product, and fertility can vary due to factors outside our control (handling, incubation conditions, etc.).

We guarantee fresh, clean, and well-packed eggs from healthy breeding stock.
We do not guarantee hatch rates.

Buyer Responsibility

By purchasing livestock from Fuzz & Buzz Farms, you agree that:

You understand the basic care needs of the animal.
You have the appropriate housing, fencing, and care plan in place.
You accept responsibility for the animal’s welfare once it leaves our farm.
